Las Vegas illustrator Brian Swanson exhibits his ‘Primitives’ collection of small to large sized paintings, done in what is referred to as Acid Aztec. These brightly colored cradled hard boards are painting with mostly acrylics and paint pens to create the plankton type details used in the fields of these works. The creatures depicted are also done in the style that Nicoyan sculptures and art that have exaggerated features and details that are highly imaginary.
